What is an Orthodontist?
Orthodontists are dentists who have completed an additional 3-year full time specialist doctorate degree at an accredited university which allows them to be registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the Dental Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
An Orthodontist is a specialist in the diagnosis, prevention, and management of irregularities in the alignment of the teeth and jaws, and has expert knowledge of the latest technologies and techniques available to provide the highest quality treatment. Your first visit to Bankstown Smile Design is about giving you the opportunity to meet our team and provide you with all the information you require to make a confident and informed decision regarding the best orthodontic approach for yourself or your child.
